We wanted too do something special our fans and do something fun and spontaneous that would also be something to make some eyebrows raise as well.
Some of us are fans of the Synthwave scene/genre, in connection too that genre was an phenomenal short film called "King Fury" that had a amazing soundtrack with many amazing synthwave artists that contributed to its creation. One track from that soundtrack stuck out too us and we always talked about "what if" True Survivor went melodeath or was a melodeath song, we always heard a different version in our heads when hearing the original version we love and once that idea was thrown around it just kept being talked about and eventually we went for it and got this result in the end. We put alot of effort too try and stay true to the orginal version while trying something different in the form of the melodeath style while trying to keep the "synthwave spirit" of the original intact and respected. This cover was alot of fun too do and we hope you enjoy!
