Since the launch of the project in January 2018 alot of you have been wondering if we would do anything Final Fantasy themed in anyway from our namesake. Well your wish has been granted! This track is a tribute lyrically to Zack and Aerith and the connection between those two characters in a personal interpretation, the artwork represents items that belonged to those characters and hold a strong reference to the Final Fantasy story.
We are extremly excited to announce the track will feature a guest solo from Scott Carstairs and guest vocals from Antonio Palermo of Fallujah. We are very happy and honored to have had them be apart of this track, the elements they brought to it made it even more special! We are extremly excited for this one guys.
We thought it would be fitting to do something Final Fantasy themed in light of this being the year the Remake was released and wanted to do something fun for you guys. We hope you enjoy!
lyrics
(Lyrics)
Not used to taking chances, to lay myself open to the fray
I never really noticed, this feeling that you give me
Until that perfect moment I looked into your eyes, and saw the universe's magic, that was your life
This heart you've stolen, in its wake of being dead and broken, giving your healing devotion
singeing the wounds from my past of ruin
I cant explain how this happened!
The universe has opened between us, a connection
Never could have imagined, that this could have happened. Together everything is put into focus, showing me life is worth the risk
in a time where I felt helpless, your love was the flame that cascades the dark
That resides, in this SOLDIER's heart of mine
(Solo)
For the first time The gates are open, too this life I'm living
My heart is on the frontlines for you my lovely Aerith
The earth has opened, I want too explore it and Immerse in its glory with you forever

A beautiful journey from start to finish, with perfectly placed moments of gentility amidst the rhythmic intrigue and blast beats of their guest drummer. jsteadmanfan

My first exposure to Inferi was seeing them live with Shadows of Intent. They were supporting this album.
Unbelievably awesome live show and the greatest possible way to discover this amazing band.
Love everything they produce. Obstacle of Affliction

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
