After the release of our debut Self-titled EP in January of 2018, we were given a immense amount of positive reviews, comments, praise and support of the music along with a out cry for merch and new material. In May of 2018 it was apparent we definitely wanted to move forward and start writing new material again and try to take the music to the next level and our writing process. In the time of 6 months of writing the talks of a Full-length album was talked about and established, and 10 tracks have been written thus far. We decided to hold off releasing a Full-length too write a few more tracks for it and really put thought into elements we want to be apart of it, but we also decided to select 2 tracks from out of the 10 written so far to give you all a taste of what is too come and a glimpse into the world and story we are creating lyrically.

The musical atmosphere created by Ken and his amazing skill as a song writer have helped shape the syfy fantasy story of the past EP and this current material and the creation of the world envisioned by the influence of the music. Ken has set a stage for a number of amazing emotions to be brought out by the new material and it's referance to the nostalgia of the Gothenburg influence of that classic Melodic Death Metal era that influenced us so much growing up, at the sametime trying to pay a respectful tribute to the bands that came from that time and scene. Our vision was to find a sound that captivated that "old school" production but give it a more modern take with new elements in our own way to botb make it our own sound while letting the listener hear our influences. We feel we captured that on the last EP thanks to Chris Themelco and his production that really set the bar. Now we want to raise that bar and take the production to the next level and felt we could do so with choosing our good friend (and former memeber of Aborted) Mendel bij de Leij at the helm of the mixing and mastering process for these new tracks. This felt like an amazing fit due to Mendel and Ken's time in Aborted together and the friendship we all had from that time and felt like a good fit and had been in talks for the past year. We are very happy with the results of that decision and we feel Mendel brought the music to its fullest potential!

A in depth continuation and telling of the story from the self-titled EP has been continued on this new EP and will also do so on the future full length and will have themes and subjects written into it that will be connected to the self titled EP and of The Wanderer from the cover of our previous EP. Little can be said of who The Wanderer is at this time, what can be said is that this is a story of one man who is offered and given a unique gift under cosmic circumstance that will transform his destiny. He is a man of a past that was full of loss, pain, war and battle in a world torn, broken, divided and decimated. It is a world everyday is a struggle to survive and tests ones humanity to the brink. This story will show the effect all these elements have had on him physically, mentally and spiritually and the spiritual growth from all the darkness of those subjects that will lead him to a destiny of cosmic proportions.

This story takes influence from a combination of themes pertaining of Cyberpunk, Fantasy, science fiction, cosmic, mythical themes, apocalyptic themes, romance and darkness to create this world in the story. More detail on The Wanderer and his back story to where he is now will be answered as newer material is released.

The question of who the entity is in the the cover of the self-titled EP inviting The Wander to a place of transendance and spiritual evolution along with why he has been chosen. These two tracks selected are the answer to who race of the entity known as The Cosmic Winds are and describe the where in the universe they are from. The artwork for this new EP shows what those entities look like in detail up close and their beauty of their physical form of choice for us to comprehend.

These two tracks are a introduction to The Cosmic Winds entities, where they are from, their world known as the "The Void Realm" and the first lessons the wanderer will learn among the few who have achieved true transendance of the purest form of evolution of life.

The goal in mind creating and writting the themes of the story line comes with two goals in mind for the listener.

1) These songs can be taken on the story arc form and the Syfy fantasy world we are creating musically and lyrically that are influenced by our love of movies of fantasy and syfy along with our love of video games and RPGs along with the issues in the "real world" today and what is happening all around us and to turn these issues into something that can turn the world we are creating figuratively where the world and human kind could be going on our current path along with our planet. But where there is darkness there is light, and where there is light there is always hope for a brighter day/future.


2) These songs are open for interpretation and meant to be taken in both the lyrical concept of the story arc or by their themes and for the listener to take in and to create their own connection to each meaning or individual message of each track connected too the story within the lyrics. Alot of it is of personal challanges we all go through in our daily lives or by just the person writing the lyrics and their experience of their own challanges. So feel free to go outside the story arc and create your own connection to each song and its message as well, especially for the future full-length to come. This also goes for the lyrics in our past self-titled EP and for any future material we release.
