This track was written in mid 2018 and went on the back burner for a long time. When we came back to it over the years it went through many changes, but for the most part this track is how it was originally written with a lot of revised parts

The lyrics were written to expand on the idea of my interpretation of what evolution is and what the potential of the highest level we could reach in the process of evolution. I wrote these lyrics after I had a profound ayahuasca experience and during that time I began to expand on the idea of what would human beings be if we reached the pinnacle of our evolution, what kind of beings would we become?

I then went back to the story I am writing and began to think of what I have written in the past on other tracks being the entity on the cover of our first album and how I expanded on that on our Cosmic Winds EP and on the track The Void Realm
This is an expansion on the Cosmic Winds in detail, and soon will all be explained more as we progress in the story. The artwork is an expansion as well and a more up close and in depth version of a Male (left) and female (right) of these Primordial beings. That what has be bestowed upon them reaching the apex of evolution is a gift.

Outside the story, the lyrics can be taken for an idepth personal feeling evolution and what we could transform into if we were to survive long enough to achieve that apex of our evolution.

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
